From the bride:
Everything we chose and did was very personal to us, and I tried to have it come across. Even down to our decorations - a lot of our centerpieces I pulled right out of our home decor! When I first started planning the wedding, I was looking around at venues and saw how many of them made you choose packages with catering, decor and photography included...and none of it was what I envisioned in my mind. It seems like there's this weird aspect of the wedding business where a lot of it hasn't changed in decades, and brides (and grooms) are forced to go with boring and outdated choices...I think finally it's starting to change with a lot of the budget and DIY-weddings, and all of the blogs though.

aw, this is so sweet.
great vintage/chic/DIY wedding ideas which make the photographs spectacular!!
What a great wedding. You had me hooked when you said the bride wore her glasses :) Loving all the stamping - the stamped food signs, favor bags, escort tags... it's all so lovely.
Vintage with a 21st Century twist! Love it!
So simple and pretty! Love the kraft paper stamped signs and, of course, the succulents!
So many charming details to love! Great centerpieces, how cool that they incorporated the couples' home decor.
this is really cute and sweet!
How sweet! I'm loving the clothes pegs and all the hand stamped loveliness.
What a stunning dress - and I am lovely all of the vintage details!
